Article 1
|
The Standards are stipulated in accordance with Paragraph 1, Article 10 of the Charges and Fees Act.
|
Article 2
|
Admission prices to the exhibition galleries of the National Museum of Prehistory (referred to as “the Museum” hereinafter) are as shown in Attached Table 1.
|
Article 3
|
As its operations permit, the Museum shall provide its venues for use by foreign and domestic public and private organizations or individuals for the holding of non-profit or social educational events that conform with the operational objectives of the Museum. Fee-charging standards for the use of venues are as shown in Attached Table 2.
|
Article 4
|
Fee-charging standards for the use of the Museum’s pianos are as shown in Attached Table 3.
|
Article 5
|
Fee-charging standards for the use of the Museum’s image materials and photocopy charges are as shown in Attached Table 4.
|
Article 6
|
Admission prices to the exhibition room of the visitor’s center of the Museum’s Peinan Cultural Park are as shown in Attached Table 5.

Article 7
|
Venue and facility management fees for the Museum’s Peinan Cultural Park are as shown in Attached Table 6.
|
Article 8
|
Museum-issued “Family Card” discount ticket prices are as shown in Attached Table 7.

Article 8-1
|
Fee-charging standards prescribed here shall be reviewed at least once every three years to take into consideration various factors, such as prices of commodities and changes in market prices or costs.

Article 9
|
The Standards shall take effect immediately upon promulgation.

Notes |
1. Venue usage is charged per 4-hour session. Under 4 hours is still charged as a 4-hour session (except the Computer Classroom, which can be used by the hour).
2. Venue decoration can be done the day before the event (venue usage fee not charged). If venue decoration needs to be completed earlier in advance, an additional NT$2,500 is charged (within 4 hours).
3. Commercial activities, such as illegal sales, are prohibited during an event. In addition to the termination of the event, the user’s eligibility to apply for venue usage shall be revoked for 1 year (starting from the date of current usage).
4. If, for any unavoidable reason, the user is unable to hold the event as scheduled, the user shall provide supporting documents to apply for postponement or cancellation. Upon approval, all paid fees shall be returned without interest. If, without a proper reason, a user fails to hold the intended event and to notify the Museum, the user’s eligibility to apply for venue usage shall be revoked for 1 year (starting from the originally scheduled date). For Mountain Square, the applicant’s deposit will also be forfeited. |

Points of attention:

The image usage fee covers production, usage permission, output, and postage costs.

Correct title and number of pages needed are required for image usage, and the image material cannot be replaced once borrowed.

If a digital file exists for the image applied for, as a principle, a digital output or reproduction from the existing digital file shall be provided.

Matters concerning image application, access authority, fee-charging standards and penalties shall be handled in accordance with the Regulations Governing the Use of Image Materials of the National Museum of Prehistory.

An applicant who requests an image of particular specifications may negotiate separately and be charged accordingly.
