Article 5 The awards will be presented in a public ceremony. A monetary award will also be presented.
An award may not be granted where any of the following applies. Where an award has already been granted, the Ministry of Culture may request, upon reporting to the Executive Yuan, the withdrawal or revocation of the award and the return of the medal,
award certificate, and monetary award:
- where there has been a serious breach of gender equality regulations;
- where there has been a serious breach of labor regulations;
- where there are falsehoods concerning the veracity of the claim to the prize; or
- where the nation’s image or the rights and interests of citizens have been damaged.
